Because they keep to a specific area their droppings are easier to locate and the supply of kopi luwak has increased.

However, the fact is that kopi luwak is worth the effort it takes to find the source of the beans. Because proteins that cause bitterness are broken down by digestion it is possible to taste the delicate flavors available in the beans themselves.
